Execution Models

We deliver customized software development services under two different execution models:

• Under the Software Factory Model, PSL leverages its Latin American presence to provide premium quality software services, at highly competitive costs. Within this model, the Company develops applications remotely in its Latin American Software Factories. When ready, PSL implements the software at the client's site. Software fine-tuning takes place remotely or on-site, as may be required. This model can save clients up to 60% of total development costs vs. comparable first world alternatives, allowing them to acquire tailor-made solutions they could not otherwise afford.

• Under the Development On-site Model, PSL deploys bilingual software engineers to the client's premises. Thus, software development occurs exclusively at the client's site. Living expenses make the Development On-Site model more costly. However, it remains about 30% to 40% less expensive than comparable alternatives from first-world providers. This model is appropriate for brief projects requiring intense interaction with the client's IT personnel.

Many clients engage projects utilizing a combination of both execution models.
