Our company is not part of the craze that led to the recent creation of multiple nearshoring outfits in Latin America –a trend that answers to the frustration felt when offshoring to distant and dissimilar time-zones in Asia. Rather, PSL began 25 years ago seeking to provide leading technology solutions to Latin American clients. As our clients began to naturally expand to other regions, including North America, so did the reach of our services, together wtih our nearshoring capabilities. This means our experience goes beyond the fact that we assembled a capable group of engineers that can code offshore. During the last quarter century, we have worked on multiple projects with more than 700 clients in different industry verticals. Not only do we have technical know-how, but more importantly, we have a deep business savvy built over the years that allows us to approach software projects from the client’s and the customer’s perspective, not just that of the engineer.
Today, our main growth objective is to expand our nearshoring services to US clients. To this end, we have set up a dedicated group of our most capable business developers, project managers and software engineers. On a typical nearshoring project, we will deploy requirements engineers and project managers to the client’s site, on an as-needed basis. At the same time, we will staff software architects, engineers, testers, GUI designers and other specialized personnel in our Latin American low-cost facilities. Both groups will work hand in hand with the client to iteratively develop, test and implement the software solutions.
To date, our nearshoring services offering includes: - Customized software development in the world’s most popular platforms and languages
- Application integration (i.e. integration via web services)
- Application maintenance
- Application migration (i.e. legacy to web)
- Mobile application development
- Consulting in software development best-practices (for select clients)
